Introducing Oficina

Paulo Antunes is more than just a company - it's also a school for those who wish to learn from our experienced master and preserve traditional techniques.

The Oficina's goal is to preserve the traditional Portuguese heritage of handcrafted furniture production while looking towards the future. In a society that values speed and mass production, we aim to ensure that this unique art form is not forgotten.

At Oficina, we take in people who are eager to learn and provide them with the opportunity to work alongside our masters.
— Paulo Antunes, CEO

Many of our master started their careers at Oficina, at a very young age, learning their craft over years of hard work and dedication. They have honed their skills over the years, becoming experts in their field through experience and practice.

We offer training in a variety of areas, including carpentry, sewing, upholstery, and other related skills. Our apprentices learn everything from the basics to the most intricate details, allowing them to develop the skills necessary to become experts in their own right.

By teaching the art of handcrafted furniture making, we hope to inspire a new generation of artisans who will carry on the traditions and techniques that have been passed down for centuries. We take great pride in our work and are dedicated to ensuring that the skills and knowledge of our master craftsmen are preserved for future generations.
