Mechelen | Belgium

This 800 years old building once functioned as a church that used to belong to the Friar Minors, a Franciscan order established in Mechelen at around 1231.
In 2006 the Martin’s Hotels Group transformed the former church into a 4-star hotel to welcome travelers from all over the world.

Its Neo-Gothic style with arched ceilings, imposing pillars, breath-taking stained-glass windows and other characteristic religious details of its past transformed Martin's Patershof into a unique hotel in Belgium.

Paulo Antunes was responsible for providing the pieces that made the hotel come to life, creating a comfortable and inviting interior with tones of personality. To decorate the guest's rooms, suites and the restaurant of the hotel,
Paulo Antunes used custom side tables, dining room stools , bar stools, poufs, nightstands and desks, as well as classics from our collection (Barrica chaise longue, Triplo pouf, Domove armchair, Maline armchair and Alicante chair).

Perfect for those who love places full of history, Martin’s Patershof is a one-of-a-kind hotel that combines tradition with modern features for an unforgettable experience at the heart of Belgium.
