It´s known for the strong presence of the town's historical heritage, namely the connection with the KnightsTemplar.

For this project, Paulo Antunes had a significant role in designing and producing the furniture and upholstery, working closely with other local suppliers to create a 100% Portuguese space.

Combining products from Paulo Antunes collection (Armchair Aspen | Chairs Ágata, Elle, Dinamarca | Chaise Longue Aspen | Headboard Aspen | Bar Stool York) with several custom-made
pieces such as closets, desks, chests, curtains, the atmosphere of Hotel República brings you to another era, filled with elegance and glamour, but with all the comforts and luxuries of the present time.

The result of one man's vision, a Portuguese emigrant who had a dream of returning to his country of origin to do
something for his motherland, Hotel República, has its core the very essence of Portugal, its People, and Place in History.
